PDX Summer Flat Report Card
It has been a great Summer here in Portland so far. It took a while for the sun to come out and play but it is here in full force now.
Anthony put together this great video of what’s been going down here this Summer. Nice one Anthony it really captures the good times we have riding here in Portland.
Now go ride.
A little summer footage from Eugene, Mt. Tabor and the Church Lot. Enjoy The Trick
Enjoy the Trick Summer Jam 2010
The Enjoy the Trick Summer Jam 2010 will be on 08/07/2010 at Creston School in Portland.
Creston School
4701 SE Bush St,
Portland, OR 97206
From noon to 7pm
There will be free water, we’ll be cooking some hot dogs, and a t-shirt for everyone who rides. Well I say that but if a 100 of you show there won’t be enough shirts to go round. After riding we will find a nice bar, get some grub and grab a few beers.
Everyone is welcome.
Infection 4 – The Flatlanders
During the 90′s Scott Hagnas filmed and released the Infection videos. He traveled up and down the west coast filming some of the best riders of the time.
Here are the flatland highlights from the Infection 4 Good ol’ Boys video. Riders include Andrew Faris, Cory Strat, Scott Hagnas, Stefan Royer, Eric Stefano, Jamie Mac, and Jason Brown. You can find out more about the Infection videos here.
A big thank you to Scott Hagnas for allowing us to edit his video and post it for free on the web for you all to enjoy.
Team Shralp Presents: King Of Mt. Tabor
TEAM SHRALP is having yet another epic BMX event to kick off the summer. Titled “King of Mt Tabor” rail jam and hill bomb race. Saturday July 3rd 2010 at Mt Tabor in Portland, Oregon. BBQ starts at 1pm, rail jam starts at 3pm followed by the hill bomb race.
The rail jam area contains three 12 stair rails in a row surrounded by many trees. The rails are square, made of steel, and perfect for runs and grind combos. You might have seen the set up at the end of Lou Rajsich’s part in the Northwest classic “Blueprint.”
The hill bomb starts at the top of Mt Tabor, twists and turns all the way down to the base of the city and finishes on Hawthorne at Zach’s Shack Hot Dog joint. A mile long hill bomb from the windy roads in the woods to one of the busiest streets in Portland.

Prototype King Bikes frame for sale.

Prototype King Bikes frame for sale.
Only 12 of these frames were made. The bottom bracket has prototype engraved on the bottom. I am posting this on behalf of Joe
Designed by Keith King the frame was built in the US at the same place the Schwinn Azrael frames. The back end of the frame is very similar to the Azrael.
The frame is aluminium, has a 19″ top tube and the dropouts are 3/8″. The frame has removable brake mounts. Unfortunately Joe cannot find them. FlatlandFuel had some on sale for the Azrael frame a while back so you might want to contact Pat about them if you buy the frame. If Joe does find them they will come with the frame.
The frame is excellent condition. Only ridden for a few sessions. There are some scratches and paint missing on the dropouts. But no dents, bends or cracks. The build quality is beautiful.
Cost is $250 including shipping in the lower US 48. If you are outside of the US there will be extra shipping costs.
If you have any questions post a comment here or use the form on the Contact page and I am sure Joe will answer them as soon as he can.

While we all know about Joe and his love of flatland some of you might not realize that he is the bar game king.
We are hoping to start a weekly series highlighting Joe and his bar game skills. Next week he will be revealing the secret of the drunken beer toss.
So if you have any questions in regards to bar games or drinking please post it in the comments and we will pass it on to Joe
Thanks to Anthony for the photo. Classic.
