DAY TWO DEW TOUR PORTLAND INVITATIONAL: SKATE STREET, BMX PARK AND SKATE BOWL, AND COOL KIDS CONCERT
WHAT:
Don’t miss tomorrow’s action at the Dew Tour Portland Invitational – the media room opens at 9:00AM for credential pick-up, with the Festival Village opening at 12pm. Come see Brett Banasiewicz, Daniel Dhers, Ryan Guettler and more compete in the BMX Park Semi-Finals, alongside P-Rod, Scott Decenzo, and Ben Hatchell competing in the Skate Street Semi-Finals. Finish up the action packed day with a Cool Kids concert at 9pm at the Rose Quarter.

BMX at the Dew Tour – Day 1
So the Dew Tour kicked off yesterday and BMX Park Qualifiers was the first event I got to take a look at. The course looks killer and the riding was impressive. The Aussies are out in force this year and were tearing up BMX Park. Ryan Guettler managed to barely edge out Joshua Perry to finish first. Dave Dillewaard came in a close third. Chris Hughes and Alessandro Barbero rounded out the top 5 that will move on to the semi-finals to compete against those who have pre-qualified.

BMX Park Qualifiers
There was a practice session on the new Dirt course, down by the Willamette River, in the morning. I did not get a chance to get over there but I am looking forward to the qualifiers today.
Freestyle5′s Roman Tencza is riding in the Dirt qualifiers today. Good luck to him. It would be great if he could make the finals.
