2011 Portland Summer Flatland Jam
The 2011 Enjoy the Trick Summer Jam will be held this year on August 20th, 2011 at the Creston spot.
There will be free water, we’ll be cooking some hot dogs, and a t-shirt for everyone who rides. Well I say that but if a 100 of you show there won’t be enough shirts to go round. After riding we will find a nice bar, get some grub and grab a few beers.
Everyone is welcome.
Location:
Creston School
4701 SE Bush St,
Portland, OR 97206
From noon to 7pm

Joe’s photo in a recent issue of DIG inspired an rider in Australia to paint a picture of him. As Bobby Carter would say “WORLDWIDE”.
Anyone else got a photo or painting of Joe they would like to share?
Happy Birthday Joe

ESPN Portland Winter Classic Flat Jam Edit
ESPN just posted Mark Rainha’s Winter Classic video. Nice job Mark. Thanks to Mark for putting this together and to Brian Tunney for posting it on ESPN.
“Last weekend, the Portland flatland and BMX community at large came together for the Portland Winter Classic Flatland Jam. Due to rain, the jam moved indoors to a dry location, and sessions went down until dark, with riding from the Portland flatland crew, as well as ESPN contributor Jared Souney, and BMX influential Ryan Barrett. There was flatland, there was spine riding and there were even a few wallrides from the likes of a dude named Snotty. Video by Mark Rainha.”
